South African party statistics

Keep scrolling. Every chart below is built from real Google Keyword Planner search volumes (Jun 2022 – May 2026) — provinces, categories and national SA trends.

📊 How to read these charts
Per‑1,000‑people, not raw totals. Province battles divide search volume by population (WC 6.9m · GP 18.2m · KZN 6.4m), so a bigger province can't simply buy the win — we're measuring mindset, not headcount. Only keywords tracked in all three provinces are compared.
Full‑year estimates. 2022 (Jun–Dec) and 2026 (Jan–May) are partial in the raw data, so both are projected to full years using the 2023–2025 seasonal pattern. Growth figures are year‑on‑year (first 12 vs last 12 months).
